Good Friends Inspire

- We are both 19 years old and were born ten days apart. Our eccentric college experiences have helped shape our future aspirations and our plans to take on the world will come to fruition when the time is right. I (Rachel) plan on attending law school after graduating from UC Berkeley with a major in Sociology and a minor in Gender and Women's Studies. I (Jake) plan to pursue something in the entertainment industry (be it acting or otherwise) after completing my degree in Media Studies with a minor in Spanish. We are a dynamic duo; we gym, party, eat, talk, and study together. In this techno age, it is very easy to get sucked into a cyber reality, one in which physical encounters are limited to parties on the weekend or brief coffee talks when time permits. But we treasure our friendship and feel that our bond is worth the investment of our time and energy. We hope this will inspire you to call up your friend that you haven't spoken to in a long time, or perhaps lend a friend a hand the next time she/he needs help. Friends are the most precious jewels we have in our lives so why not cherish 'em?
